What’s in JJ’s iBook shelf?

JJ bookshelf

iBooks 2017

Before the technology revolution took off 7 years ago, reading an actual book from a library or a bookstore was the norm. And being an avid reader/bookworm, there was nothing I liked more than escaping to my reading sanctuary.

When I first starting using iBooks, I was in awe of the pretty mahogany bookshelf (not like the current dull grey shelf with the new update!) and how life-like it imitated the book. Turning the page on my iPod touch- didn’t seem that far off from the real thing. That and the prices of eBooks (they’re cheaper than the hard copies) and shelf saving space was super enticing!

So despite my initial hesitation to using eBooks, I’m now majorly hooked. Maybe it’s something to do with the fact that it’s portable. Or maybe it’s cause I have multiple books at my fingertips. Or maybe it’s cause I can listen to music while reading! Whatever the reason, I find that I tend to read books faster on my iPod as opposed to my actual bookshelf (maybe it’s cause I actually own the book and keep thinking, eh I can always read it another day πŸ˜‰

Moody Collective publishing is one of my favourite Christian publishing companies πŸ˜‰ Not only cause…

How cool is that?!

What I also love about their website is the comprehensive book excerpts that you can read before buying the book πŸ˜‰

At the moment in my early Christmas pressie pending bookshelf, there’s:
